On these curated tours, you will wander through the 1,700-year-old Diocletian's Palace, specifically the subterranean cellars where Daenerys Targaryen kept her dragons. Real experiences from real travelers
The guide was incredible! He actually worked as an extra during the filming of the Meereen scenes and had so many behind-the-scenes stories. Standing in the dragon's cellar was a highlight of my trip to Croatia.
I was worried my husband (not a fan) would be bored, but the history of Diocletian's Palace is so rich that he loved it too. The views from Klis Fortress are worth the trip alone.
The tour was fantastic, but be prepared for a lot of steps, especially at Klis. Wear good shoes! The cellar entrance being included in the price was very convenient.
A dream come true. Our guide showed us the exact spots where the Unsullied marched. Booking through this platform was seamless and the instant confirmation gave us peace of mind.
I highly recommend the tour that includes Klis. It's only 20 minutes from Split and the Game of Thrones museum there is small but very cool for fans.
The guide's English was perfect. They used iPads to show scenes from the show while we stood in the actual locations. It really brought the stories to life.
The 90-minute tour of the palace was the perfect length for us. We learned about the Roman Emperor and the Mother of Dragons in one go. Great price too.
Everything was well organized. We met at the Golden Gate easily. The small group size made it feel very personal. I took so many photos!

However, the walking can be tiring for very young children.;While you'll get more out of the 'Easter eggs' if you've seen the show, the history of the 4th-century Roman palace is fascinating enough for anyone to enjoy.;Tours usually run rain or shine.
